Presenting the first filmed case for Perry Mason! And the excellent Warren William is the first man to portray the famous TV/film lawyer in this Warner Bros production. And it's a clever murder mystery. Almost too clever. Mary Astor ends up being accused of murder and Perry Mason, almost as a shyster lawyer, does all the tricks in the book to make the evidence irrelevant fooling the police, witnesses and the prosecution. He's so dirty he almost manages to become the bad guy in this movie!
