This is the most human compassion you'll see the Japanese show during World War II. A Propaganda movie trying to win the support of the filipino people under Japan-occupied Philippines, catering to pinoy sensitivities. Stars Fernando Poe (Sr.), the father of future mega star and Presidential candidate Fernando Poe Jr. (died before the elections), preaching the good word for the Japanese. Felt so odd. But I'm loving that this type of historical tidbits exists. It's like a parallel universe.
