The Fringe Dwellers

Far too idyllic for its own good, which (along with trying to egregiously maintain a PG rating) completely devalue the social importance this film could've displayed. Despite such forced idealism, it only makes the dramatic bombshell at the end seem even more out of place and inappropriate for what is a family film, especially as it's coming from the incredibly annoying young female character. This is a big disappointment from a great director.
