The Indians Are Coming (1930) is a early sound serial with over 3 1/2 hrs of western action starring Tim McCoy. And while it's got a lot of quirks, there are ambitious shots and ideas put into this production. That doesn't mean everything is good, but they try to hook you with a good first episode, even if the quality of the rest varies greatly.
