First Metzger that I've seen,and it was a lot classier and somewhat tamer than what I thought. A bit like a Jess Franco film with better production values and a quality cast - of course Franco DID have both of those during a short period of his career, but you get the idea. It has a similar haunting quality and I will surely check out more of Metzger's work. Plus points for Cipriani score which probably elevates the film up a notch or two.
