A quickie riding the coattails of the comic chase fad, wherein a man flees in terror from a goofy pursuer waving around a not particularly sharp implement in a nonthreatening manner. The best chuckle comes from the bit where they come back from off-screen via stop-trick, a not-so-common gag for the time.
