The Rangers Take Over

1942
Western
Texas Ranger Sergeant Jim Steele (Jim Newill) spots Pete Dawson (Bud Osborne) taking horses over the Mexico-Texas border, but Dawson has an alibi. A new group of recruits arrives at the Ranger station, among them, Tex Wyatt (Dave O'Brien), the son of Ranger Captain John Wyatt (Forrest Taylor), whom he hasn't seen for many years. Captain Wyatt tells Tex that, in the Rangers, he is there strictly on his own merit and there will be no favors played. (imdb)

So starts another series of westerns with 3 leading men. The Texas Rangers! And they sing too! First coalition being Dave O'Brien, James Newill & Guy Wilkerson. These trios are getting to be fairly routine and there are more of them to come. This one with 2 handsome and one ugly ranger getting to know each other and going out on their first mission. Fills the hour with easy thrills of the standard cheap kind. Nothing truly exceptional, but none worse than any of the other triple-cowboy flicks.
