Unidentified Flying Oddball

I usually love time travel movies but sometimes they can age poorly, and this is a prime example of that. The sci-fi part isn't the only thing not working though, because the comedy falls just as flat if not more so.

I saw this at the cinema when I was about seven and of course remembered virtually nothing about it but as an Arthurian buff I gave it a watch. It starts out surprisingly well, with some solid fish out of water laughs and nice digs at Winston Churchill and (in a Disney movie!) Playboy. Unfortunately, the final act degenerates into standard slapstick battles but the cast (Kenneth More’s disappointingly stolid Arthur aside) gives good returns.
