Norman Foster as a struggling writer with, Carole Lombard, a wife that supports him while he tries to get it right. And throw in a bunch of drunken fiends to liven the party and you get a lot of funny moments. Of course it's a bit stage bound and quirky since it's a '31 movie, which is why, unless you are a major Lombard fan, watching the remake Thanks for the Memory (1938) starring Bob Hope might be a better option. Almost the same movie with slightly better production values.
