A light musical comedy from 20th Century Fox with Jack Haley as a phantom singer. Just for the record he himself had a phantom singer for his own singing sequences. This also had radio personalities Walter Winchell & Ben Bernie getting top billing. However the entire "search for the phantom" plot is just a weak excuse for a movie story. The real focus is all the songs, dancing and guest appearances. It's a digestible musical, but it's nothing more then a simple sugar product.
