This Klondike epic from Frank Lloyd came out just a few months after Chaplin's The Gold Rush (1925) and tells almost the same story, except with less comedy and A LOT more action and female entanglements! So if you need a alternative to Chaplin's version, or hungry for more gold rush films, then this one is for you! Ben Lyon stars as the naive one, getting continually screwed over by people he meet. The only real friend he finds is Victor McLaglen. So just enjoy this terrific silent film!
