what a slow and stupid movie.
if it wasn't for the billions of dollars poured into that crappy movie to make it cinematically shine (similar to titanic), i would rate it 0.
what a waste of my time... the movie sucked, and the most interseting part - the fact that the main character is a freak of nature, was rarely if ever addressed.
the movie would have been more realistic and more entertaining if they locked the freak main character in a cage and ran tests on him all day in some science lab.
the oscar film achademy lost any last oz. of respect i had for their rating.

The first thing I look for when I watch a movie about a dude that ages backwards is realism.

Well, this movie was long and sucked, and the story was just awful!
if you think about "unreal things" that are made to look normal... check out Being John Malkovich... Spike does a great job in making something as unreal as a 7.5 floor and a portal to someones head seem real...
this movie did nothing of that sort... even little mosters did a better job of selling me on "portal under the bed" then button did on "age backwards".
this movie is an F-.
It gets "barry lendon" points for great cinemetography and set/cosutme designs (aka millions of dollars, similar to titanic)... but this story was god-awful.
