It can be anything from physical beauty, such as whether you find them attractive, to inner beauty, such as their personality and such. In almost every movie I watch there is an actor that I would consider beautiful in some way so these to me are just those who I've found the most striking.

I'd go with Gene Tierney (ooh, what a surprise considering my avatar...). Considerable physical beauty, but also there is something tragic and haunting in her too, kind of intense, dark presence which is a bit scary and very magnetic.

Re: Most beautiful people in film
It's almost always some bizarre race mix between some Peruvian shark rider and a Russian cabaret mistress that forges the most breathtaking spawn. You check IMDb next time you collapse when trying to stand.
I tend to fall for characters, but a few people have translated something extra.
Exotic race mixes aside, I'm powerless against and easily lost in big, brown, austere eyes.
Sarah Adler (Notre Musique)
Julia Jentsch (Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage)
Sharmila Tagore (Devi)
Winona Ryder takes things too far. I have only contempt for her eyes.
Well of course Gene Tierney's going to win if you include her.
I still want that mud wrestling with Lauren Bacall dream.
I would so win.

Scar... ah screw it, you know what I'm going to say. Oh and I thought Catherine Keener was hot in Being John Malkovich, and she was fucking 41!
