when viewing all of someones rankings the color for the seen it vs. not seen it are too similar perhaps the color could be a bit more vibrant, i find myself having to look very closely just to see the distinction.

I suspect this is more a problem of the calibration of your display device. On this website you should be able to read all the numbers from 1 to 16. If you can't then your display isn't calibrated properly for normal webbrowsing.

regardless of tint of computer, the color is very pale, and hard to diferentiate between the extremely light blue and white.

Did you check the website to see if your screen is calibrated well enough? I calibrate my screen regularly with a piece of hardware, so my screen is as calibrated as can be for $50, and I have no problems differentiating the white from the light blue... It's not that light blue.

We think, too, that the color isn't overly light -- at least on our screens, there is a clear difference.
But, we're always appreciative of comments of any sort -- if you've noticed this, it's very probable that other people have as well. We're constantly making little style modifications, and will take this under consideration.
