i was on andrei tarkovsky's page, and added him to my favorite directors, after which i clicked a link saying something like "8 other people's favorite director" and i remained at andrei tarkovsky's page, with no pop up or page change, so i clicked it a couple more times, and then right clicked, open in new window, it took me to a page not found. do i have terrible virus that will turn our machines against us and consequently exterminating the human species?

Yes. It's called the Tarkovsky Effect. Their Achilles Heel is water in a natural setting. If you can trick them into staring at the water, they will implode with metaphorical potential.

There should be a blue box which appears on the right hand side of the page, above the advertising, when you click on that link. That box shows all the people who've added Tarkovsky as a favorite.

Are you not seeing that? Try hitting ctrl+refresh, just to make sure there's no stale javascript stored in your cache. Opening the page in a new window wouldn't work. If you still can't see the box, let me know and we can look further.
