Water was alcohol, alcohol was water

Post by Minorsage »

Saw a scifi movie as a kid that I think had something to do with an alternate earth.
The only scene I remember was a guy gave a girl from the other planet a glass of tap water, and she asked if he was trying to get her drunk. Then he gave he a glass of some alcoholic beverage [whiskey?] and she acted like it was water.

Anyone know this movie?

Chatbot fail. It's an older movie - might even have been in black and white.

Google's Gemini Advanced with Ultra 1.0

Compared to OpenAI's GPT-4 Turbo (first attempt), I find it to generally be a more effective communicator, though it's also more frustrating to argue with when it hallucinates.

I was so sure this would be it, but I just watched it and... no. Definitely not comedic at all. Long and tragic. I'll have to keep looking.
