Pine-Thomas Productions' High Powered is the mixture as before, a two-fisted adventure tale with a melodramatic "tortured hero" subtext. High-rigger Tim Scott (Robert Lowery) can't get over the fact that his brother died in an on-the-job wiring mishap. Nor does Rod Farrell (Roger Pryor), who holds Tim responsible for the fatal accident, intend to let him get over it. For some unknown reason, the sale of waffle irons has plummeted, equally and negatively affecting family owned and operated Four Square and Magic Circle, two of the leading waffle iron companies. What could be both companies' saving grace is that their respective presidents, Richard Wright and Evelyn Foster, are in love with each other, with their personal merger in terms of a marriage resulting in a planned business merger of the two companies.

Frontier scout Daniel Boone is sent out to locate the only two survivors of General Braddock's men that are believed two have lived through an Indian massacre. One of the survivors, CHarlie Bryan, witnessed the capture of his two daughters, Rebecca and Helen, by the Indians. Boone succeeds in locating and rescuing the women. Shorty afterwards, the Boone party is joined by Captain Fraser, who proves to be an intelligence officer in the French forces, and Boone's small group is captured.
