The Black Cauldron (1985) - Rated 03 Jul 2013
"This movie honestly has such a special place in my heart. Its a movie for everybody, with both serious, scary characters along with silly and funny sidekicks. The Black Cauldron is an extremely underrated Disney masterpiece."

They (2002) - Rated 03 Jul 2013
"This movie was only mildly scary. I wish they had let the role of the main heroine's childhood friend develop more. Even though the ending feels like it could come straight out of a real nightmare, it makes everything feel inconclusive and I felt the characters and the viewers deserved more. It needed more back story too."

Troll (1986) - Rated 03 Jul 2013
"This is a very fun, campy movie that you could possibly enjoy if you don't expect to be scared at all. Some interesting bit parts can be seen here from the stars or yesteryear. Stop after this one, don't even try watching the second film."

The Haunting of Molly Hartley (2008) - Rated 03 Jul 2013
"I have to give this movie props for having a few genuinely unsettling moments, like the "baptism" scene and the nerve-wracking conclusion. But almost all that is ruined by the seriously out of place tone the final scenes have."

Shark Night 3D (2011) - Rated 02 Jul 2013
"OK its not the scariest film ever, but this shark flick sure knows how to take the viewer on a fun ride. When a group f teens go to a lake house for the weekend, the body count rises and the terror begins. Worth a watch for the fun and a few jolts. Keep an eye put for the future star of Smash, Katherine McPhee."

Prom (2011) - Rated 02 Jul 2013
"Wow what a fun movie! All the kids act their hearts out here and the movie has the potential to get some real emotion out of the viewer. Definitely worth seeing again. It will make you feel like a teenager again. And Nova and Jesse are a great cinematic couple."

The Fog (1980) - Rated 02 Jul 2013
"This has to be one of my favorite horror movies. Its so atmospheric with great acting, storyline and direction from John Carpenter. I like how death isnt shown mindlessly in this film like a slasher movie. The killings are shown as horrible and the characters have to defeat the evil. Great and worth seeing multiple times."

Elektra (2005) - Rated 02 Jul 2013
"I liked this movie better than I thought I would. Elektra was a feeling, emotional human being and it was interesting to see her love for a man and his daughter be possibly prevented by her evil enemies. I didn't appreciate the lesbian kiss scene though. Overall well done Jennifer!"
