I wanted to like this more than I did. The premise is excellent, and the set-up had so much potential, but the characters just couldn't hold me, and the further the season got, the more it seemed to veer from the original tone.

Loved the character design and animation, and despite the silly premise there's a lot of heart and earnestness at the core of this movie.

The Imperfects (2022) - Rated 25 Apr 2025

Charming and funny, but not brilliant. It was an entertaining way to pass the time.

Dead Boy Detectives (2024) - Rated 25 Apr 2025

One of the best shows I've seen in ages. Loved the character arcs and the chemistry between the cast. On its surface, the show's a wildly chaotic, deeply funny monster-of-the-week detective show, but it's surprisingly earnest, and it does right by some very difficult topics.

Twilight (2008) - Rated 25 Apr 2025

Truly insipid drivel. Couldn't like any of the characters enough to become invested.
