Dead Boy Detectives

This is a great spin on the classic Hardy Boys, Boxcar Children, etc. type of story. It's modern, a little gay, etc., but it's not done so at the expense of the writing quality. Sucks that this one got cancelled.

One of the best shows I've seen in ages. Loved the character arcs and the chemistry between the cast. On its surface, the show's a wildly chaotic, deeply funny monster-of-the-week detective show, but it's surprisingly earnest, and it does right by some very difficult topics.

Love this show, wish there could be a second season

Dead Boy Detectives is absolutely amazing, it's fun and campy yet so careful and genuine in the way it handles serious topics, and it does it incredibly well. It's such a joy to watch and revisit.
