Its a very well done movie. A nice romantic comedy out of Bollywood after a long time. The movie captures the awkwardness of the arranged marriage especially when the boy marries someone whom he is not interested in. The acting by the lead actors is really good. I would recommend this movie to all.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy (2015) - Rated 02 Jan 2016

People claim Byomkesh Bakshi is the Indian Sherlock Holmes, while growing up I have watched the tv show of the same character. This movie tries to overdo on the plot, stretching it out longer than needed. The story loses the urgency needed for a good suspense thriller. It is ok entertainer overall. Definitely could have been better.

Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) - Rated 30 Dec 2015

I wasnt sure what to make out of this movie. I was considering this movie to be completely different considering the fact that it had Colin Firth in it. The movie is funny in its British way and the use of graphic violence makes it have its dark moments as well. It is definitely entertaining.

San Andreas (2015) - Rated 21 Nov 2015

This is truly a mini review as the movie doesnt deserve anything more than this. The story is like any other disaster movie with a happy ending. I seriously dont understand Paul Giamatti's talent being waster in this. Well yet another movie with a bad story and a worthless CGI.

Blue Jasmine (2013) - Rated 27 Jul 2015

Yet another Woody Allen movie. Cate Blanchett is amazing as ever. A very simple story about the materialistic American elite and the financial crisis done to perfection. This movie revolves around Cate Blanchett and she delivers. The normal person would root for Cate Blanchett to survive, spoiler alert, Woody Allen doesnt do what one expects. A must see.

The Imitation Game (2014) - Rated 23 Jun 2015

The trend when making a biopic is normally to glamorize it. In this case there is not such attempt to glamorize it. The acting by Benedict Cumberbatch is brilliant as usual. The movie is pretty much a one man show. The script however feels lacking. Considering how important Turing has been to modern day computer I feel the movie didnt do justice.

The Lunchbox (2014) - Rated 07 Jun 2015

This movie is really sweet, warm and pleasing. The movie shows how a relationship develops between two unlikely people. The movie reminds many about You've got mail. This movie will stay with you even after you are done watching. I was impressed with the acting by Nimrat Kaur. A must watch movie for all.

In Your Eyes (2014) - Rated 22 Apr 2015

The premise of the movie is very interesting. However, the movie lacks the execution for such a premise. It is movie that one could really like if it didnt meander around. I think the movie could have been a lot better than what it turned out to be.
