"Its a Disney channel movie from the late 90s -- it plays out exactly as you expect it. Very cheap special effects, goofy acting, heartwarming moments, hit and miss jokes. Sometimes the actors really make the costumes come alive, other times its just a guy in a cheap mask walking around. If you really enjoy Halloween and have a special place in your heart for dorky movies it might be worth a watch, if you expect anything of serious quality you should skip this one."

"The first fifteen minutes sets-up a story and paints a fun prequel to the first one -- and then we return to present time and it all goes downhill. The dialogues are boring, there is too much focus on the wrong characters and a lot of jokes are predictable. When the movie actually puts the attention on the witches it works pretty well and the ending is surprisingly emotional but overall it feels like the script introduces interesting ideas and never really follows them."

"If you like Halloween and witchcraft you will like it. Its a fun movie, the acting can be a bit goofy sometimes but its really entertaining, you can tell the actors enjoyed working on this. There are moments that unnecessarily slow down the movie and some characters are introduced but never really taken advantage of. There is no real depth or meaning to anything but if you dont expect that and just want to be entertained and like magical aesthetics its worth a watch."
