Disaster

At the beginning, I was certain this movie would be tough because I sorta hated the characters. Half way through, the main asshole grew on me and I conceded that this might actually be an alright movie. Now that it's finished, I think it's definitely well into "Good" territory. Really great performances.

I Am Not a Serial Killer (2016) - Rated 02 Jan 2017

I truly wonder what expectations everyone else went into this film with (was there hype around it? apparently there was a book?) that left them so disappointed in it. I'm glad I knew next to nothing about it before watching it. I absolutely adored it and feel like it's what's been so severely lacking in good horror/drama lately.

I'm actually pretty (pleasantly) surprised at how well this movie holds up 27 years after its making.
