Evil Dead Burn (2026) - Rated 27 Oct 2026
Easily the weakest this franchise has been, but also nowhere near as bad as I've heard. This actually succeeded in grossing me out a few times: feels like a worthy combination of Evil Dead's whole thing and the recent French extremism movement.

Her Private Hell (2026) - Rated 25 Oct 2026
My first movie watched in ten days. Like most NWR works, a lot of decently cool vibes. It just SUCKED outside of that.

You Can See Everything (2026) - Rated 16 Oct 2026
Maybe the documentary of the decade? Instant all timer. Instant five bags. What is reality? What is performance? Fielder is one of the best to ever do it.

Laughed my ass off but I think I’ll forget I’ve seen this within the week.

Brothers. Mothers. Fathers. Families. The bodies drop how they may. Russian gangsters, meaningless massacres, you know the snows gonna melt one day.

Thelma & Louise (1991) - Rated 12 Oct 2026
In the words of my immortal best friend, I support women’s rights as well as women’s wrongs. Only thing that aged poorly about this 35 year old movie is that one or two of the driving scenes don’t necessarily look great on the criterion 4k.

The Gentlemen (2019) - Rated 11 Oct 2026
Pretty entertaining and Colin Farrell is one of the GOATs but maybe a tad too convoluted, self congratulatory, and anti-PC for me to love as much as other Ritchie affairs.

Bones and All (2022) - Rated 09 Oct 2026
Late 80s Americana Thirst but with cannibals instead of vampires, fun character actor turns, and a delightful set of tracks from Reznor/Ross.

Digger (2026) - Rated 05 Oct 2026
John Goodman MVP as always. The Academy and half of you will and already do understandably hate this didactic piece of crap that never makes up its mind until it’s too late (how apt), but I adored this wacko Cruise vehicle that definitely gives itself as a cross between Okja, Birdman, Asteroid City, and Eddington.

The Whisper Man (2026) - Rated 27 Sep 2026
Pedestrian adaptation of a pretty darn good novel. Netflix strikes again…
