Bio: I rate movies based on what I like, not necessarily how good they're made, or how artistic. My overall philosophy is that fiction should be fun, and documentaries should be useful. I don't have much use for depressing fiction or documentaries that show the suffering without any redemptive message.
I use the DRAMAFLOP rating system:

Action (wt=2) 0=boring,2=too slow or too crazy, 5= perfect pace
Funny (wt=2) 0= too serious, 3=amusing, 5=great
Filmography (wt=1) 4=very good, 5= Walter Middy, breathtaking
Loveable Characters (wt=3) 0=none,3=tolerable,4=likable,5=wanna hang out
Orchestration (wt=1) 3=average,4=noticaable,5=makes the movie
