The Suicide Squad (2021) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
Really entertaining reboot (?) - made it as fun as Guardians of the Galaxy.

A Simple Favor (2018) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
While the story gets a bit lost by the end - the chemistry, humor, and tension all more than make up for it. Just as much fun on a rewatch.

Passengers (2016) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
Frustratingly disappointing. A waste of a decent idea, expensive special effects, and talented actors.

Gilmore Girls (2000) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
A fast talking classic. Not everything aged perfectly but it's tough to think of too many other shows that could match it in wit.

Good Girls (2018) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
Entertaining and fun. Nothing too special beyond that but it's not trying to be.

You (2018) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
Creepy but in a weirdly sexy way. Or sexy in an understandably creepy way.

Gossip Girl (2021) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
The revival stands in the shadow of the massively popular predecessor - but the updated setting and diverse characters still pair surprisingly well with the Gossip Girl snark. While an intrusive, omniscient internet troll is no longer new or even uncommon in reality - it's entertaining to see the different ways the new generation handles the power and attention.

The Good Place (2016) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
Really adorable mix of Michael Schur's practiced, warm, friendly sitcom wit - and thoughtful conversations about ethics.

Bo Burnham: Inside (2021) - Rated 22 Aug 2021
Amazing production and concept - a borderline deranged one man show. The purpose was likely to provoke thought even more than to simply entertain - and considering how many conversations it's started - from both a positive and critical POV - it's quite successful.
