I too used to be one of the ones that thought it was too long and boring, but the more I watch it the more I appreciate it. Now, It's an epic tale with an unforgettable soundtrack. Leo Van Cleef and Eli Wallach are really the ones that shine here, rather than Eastwood. I recommend giving it another shot and maybe watch the Trilogy as a whole, cause that is the way to watch it.....Arrow did a magnificent 4k restoration, they are stunning.

I think this movie shows the real talent to Robert Rodriguez. When he get a big budget he tends to go a little nutty and more fun. Which is till good, but something about his lower budget films just feel so much more authentic and put together. I'd like him to make more lower budget stuff like this.
