90 50% Wind River (2017) - Dec 24, 2017
"Warning: this is a **very** intense, violent movie that's extremely well done. "
100 90% Stranger Than Fiction (2006) - Dec 24, 2017
"This is one of my favorite all-time movies. An IRS agent with no life discovers that he can hear the story that some unknown author is in the process of writing. And it seems that the author plans to kill off her character unless Harold can find her and talk her out of it in time. Improbable? Sure but it works beautifully and it's *very* funny!"
95 71% Read My Lips (2001) - Dec 24, 2017
"This is a very unusual & intense story in French of 2 outsiders who find themselves in circumstances where their very lives depend on trusting and relying on each other. It's also, among other things, a romance of sorts but definitely not a rom-com."
95 71% The Imitation Game (2014) - Dec 24, 2017
"Extremely well done dramatization of Alan Turing's single-handed effort to decode the German Enigma machine during WWII. Alan was a brilliant Autistic homosexual who's life was hell and as an autie myself I can tell you that this was a perfect portrayal of what people who are Different go through. Highly recommended. "
95 71% A Brilliant Young Mind (2014) - Dec 24, 2017
"Hollywood almost always portraws people on the Autistic spectrum as freaks even when it pretends to be respecting them. This movie is different. It's intelligent - it shows this young autie as a human being with all of his strengths & disabilities. Real people - no cliches! Recommended."
