What a terribly disappointing movie. Complete melodramatic preaching from people who clearly had an agenda. Um, sure, let’s bash the Pope, too, why not…. So many cringe moments. If I was an actor in the movie, I would be embarrassed to have my friends and family watch it.

It can drag for sure, but as a whole, it’s an absolutely fantastic movie! It’s one of those that gets better and better as you think back on what you saw.

The amazing ending saved it, otherwise it drags on for a long time.

Interesting how those on each side think that it’s making fun of the other side and can’t grasp that it’s making fun of their own side as well.

So disappointing on so many levels. Terrible story. I generally think that Adam Driver is an excellent actor, but this was his worst film by far. What kind of accent was that??? Was he playing Dracula or Enzo??? Meanwhile, I generally think that Penelope Cruz is a terrible actress, but I think this was her best performance by far.
