The Conversation (1974) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
A film about the effects of paranoia and pure mystery, The Conversation has all the means to be a perfect thriller, but it somehow uses its means wrong and becomes a somewhat pretentious movie with a very confused performance from Gene Hackman, who's barely audible at many points of this film.

Angel Eyes (2001) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
A disappointing cheap knock-off of Ghost.

The African Queen (1951) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
The African Queen is a engrossing masterpiece that uses its cast, photography, location and script to turn this film into a film of grand proportions.

The Pink Panther (1963) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
The Pink Panther is a slapstick-comedy masterpiece that very early revolutionises the comedy genre for the next six decades. Its jokes aren't tacky or desperate, they're classy and clever. Its acting isn't bad or wooden, its captivating.

Trail of the Pink Panther (1982) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
This film would've been better as a collection of outtakes and bloopers rather than a 90-minute film acting more as a reflection of the franchise's funniest moments, rather than an actual film with a storyline.

The Birds (1963) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
The most terrifying thing about The Birds is the lack of musical accompaniment throughout the film. Only the sounds of birds can be heard, adding further suspense and fear to this already suspense-filled Hitchcock classic.

Blue Velvet (1986) - Rated 23 Oct 2026

Obsession (2026) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
Obsession is the most refreshing horror film in years and is so distinctively original. Bound to stand as one of the greatest horror films of the 21st Century.

Born to Be Bad (1934) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
Loretta Young plays an unwed prostitute mother whose horrid personality allows for zero empathy for her character and almost forces you to wish for her demise as a bad mother. Cary's role is meagre and incredibly wooden, his worst acting role ever in a film that is barely an hour long, but certainly feels much, much longer.

The Boy Next Door (2015) - Rated 23 Oct 2026
The movie had the potential to be the next "Fatal Attraction", however, it misfires at every direction, turning this erotic thriller into a hot mess of campy shamelessness and relentlessly unconvincing acting.
