prophecy

It's hard to rate this movie. Part of me wants to give it a 1 for being so downright unpleasant but at the same time i want to give it a 10 for being so downright unpleasant. There are moments of brilliance in this movie and moments that should have ended up at the cutting floor. But there aren't many movies out there that are so extreme and so though provoking at the same time. Also the adaptation from the book is done quite well. If you have the stomach... be sure to check this one out.

Predators (2010) - Rated 23 Oct 2013

Started of kinda nice but I really had to drag myself through this movie. It was boring and predictable. Adrien's acting was good but the script was... well.. there was no script..

The Duchess (2008) - Rated 23 Oct 2013

The look is great, Keirai's better than expected. However the writer/director chose to focus on the drama and misery instead of showing how she compensated for her misery in success in the political/social world. Would have been great if they had contrasted every personal defeat with a public victory. Showing how she turns her setbacks in to motivation. No it just comes of as a shallow drama-film with only the footnote at the end noting that she was an influential woman.
