Bio: I'll rate movies on a classroom-type grading scale: 90 - 100 is an A, or a great film; 80 would be good; 70 is OK; 60 and under is, well, not so good. Variations in a 10-point range (for example, between 75 and 78, or 98 and 99) will probably be pretty subjective, and not necessarily reflective of the movie's quality, just of how well I liked it. For example, "Gone with the Wind" may be better than, say, "It Came From Outer Space," but I might not prefer to watch it.

"To me, it wasn't a terrible movie, but I did feel like I missed something--like it turned out to be a different kind of movie than I'd expected. My favorite part was Elisha Cook Jr. in his role as an angry father."
