67 0% A Quiet Place Part II (2021) - Rated 13 Sep 2021
"WOW. Usually am skeptical about sequels, but this one was somehow better than the first in a lot of ways. I didn't know which direction they would take the sequel but it was pretty damn good. The journey to find other people was predictable but how things panned out was well done. The theme of silence didn't get boring but had maybe even a better effect than the first film. The young actors man... so good. And Cillian Murphy was good to see!"

"New concept of a horror film. Had many elements of horror but the fact that it was mostly silent was very cool. I heard that the actors had to learn sign language and the main girl protagonist was actually deaf. Crazy scenes (Emily Blunt giving birth in silence(!!!), John Krasinski dying for his children, ending with sound!). Kid actors were really good!"

"Interesting take on the sequel; same same but different. Not that bad of a take on a sequel for a "scary" movie, but could've done without it for sure. The first one was better. Young girl actor was not bad. In terms of story, the old man was painted to be the protagonist but that contradicts with how he was portrayed in the first movie. But I guess that's the spectrum of all human beings ay?"
64 0% Candyman (2021) - Rated 13 Sep 2021
"yoooooo... I went into the movie not knowing much about the film, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The urban myth relating to the history of oppression and violence of blacks in America was very well done. It was not until the end (few minutes and post-credit scenes) where everything tied together for me. Not very scary in terms of horror, but scary in terms of the effects of the reality of slavery. Story seemed to flow well! Candyman, candyman, candyman, candyman, candyman."
55 0% Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) - Rated 13 Sep 2021
"Asian-American representation! Martial arts/fighting scenes were CRAZY. The story was a little off at times and didn't seem to flow as well as I would have liked. As with any superhero movie, cheesy and corny at times. The CGI was kinda mind-blowing. The first of many films with majority Asian cast!"
49 0% War Dogs (2016) - Rated 14 Feb 2021
"Acting was kind of eh at some moments. Story was cool, as it was based on a true story. Cinematography and camera work wasn't that special. Character development was pretty alright. Some pretty big names in it though."
