Never would I think I'd hurry home from seeing a Bond movie to rant and rave about the cinematography until about 35 minutes ago. Pair that with Mendes impeccable ability to pace a movie and one of Bardem's best performances to date and the last 160 minutes flew by. Dench certainly deserves a nod as well; for 77 years old she sure has some spunk left in her.

I will give this movie a double digit rating simply for the fact that I am intoxicated and am feeling a bit generous. Awful.

Thor (2011) - Rated 07 Aug 2012

I went into this movie after The Avengers expecting it to be good. I was wrong. 45/100 for Anthony Hopkin's amazing voice.

Man on a Ledge (2012) - Rated 21 Jul 2012

Just not good, not good at all. I'll give it a 30 to give credit to Genesis Rodriguez's stellar ability to look unbearably sexy in any situation.

The Dark Knight Rises (2012) - Rated 21 Jul 2012

With better pacing than the latter films in the trilogy, the only thing preventing this film taking the crown as the best of the three would be the lack of a standout performance, the best of which coming from Caine's interactions with Bale. Still a must see and a tremendous end to a trilogy.

The most fun I've had watching a film in a very long time.

Uahan segye (2007) - Rated 14 May 2012

Yet another nice performance from Song Kang-ho, well paced and with a great score by the one and only Yoko Kanno, this was a nice film to sit back and enjoy. Slightly reminiscent of Tokyo Sonata with a gangster twist, it never leaves your heart sinking for long.
