A very interesting film. One of the first of the "adult animation" genere, which is taken more literally than any other film like it, with boobs, drugs, and profanity everywhere in sight. It was ambitious for the time, and the soundtrack and visuals hold up. Though it did have some reused animation I noticed. And the conversion to black people as crows can be seen as racist nowdays. But it also had a charm that's stuck with me for a few days.

The Pixar film with the highest death count. Good music, bad story, writing, characters.. I used to love it as a kid over Cars 1 somehow.

Kids (1995) - Rated 13 May 2026

Intriguing plot they could've done, but they just wasted most of the movie on kids doing drugs, and other disgusting stuff to the point I fast forwarded through most of the movie looking for plot other than just sex and drugs. There was barely any. There are no morals to take away other than those two things. I get that was the message, and why it got a NC-17 rating, but it wasn't worth the watch at all.
