Big let down and only propped up by Spielberg's name. Great premise and I've went down the UFO rabbit hole a few times, but this movie leaned too heavily into the summer blockbuster style with boring car chase and train set pieces. And it didn't do anything overly well. The parts featuring recovered footage and history of the reverse engineering programs - the movie needed more of that. And take an investigative angle rather than the sci-fi magic. I will never watch this one again.

Awful version of The Punisher. Constantly back to square one and it's boring. Waste of time. Some decent action but nothing that justifies its existence.

I love these sort of "trapped" movies but what really elevated this one was the actors. They did a fantastic job and I felt like I was watching the early work of some breakout stars.
