Sean Byrne sure knows how to make fucked up things fun, doesn't he.

It's a little convenient, but as long as I'm hooked, I don't mind. This might be one of those movies where people get weirdly autistic about shark facts. As if that ever mattered in a horror movie, where sharks are plot devices to create, you know...horror. Not a documentary.
Anyway, Byrne just makes my favorite kind of romance/horror crossovers. And just has a knack for casting genuinely sexy and badass chicks. :>

So yeah, I definitely have a crush on Hassie Harrison now. :D
Texas women are something different, man. I reckon... Think I gotta move there now.

I don't know what's wrong with online movie consensus these days, but I tend to find the most movies among those with a 5 or 6 average rating and the most bland or undercooked stuff among the hype.

Oh yeah, and Jai Courtney is obviously pretty great in this one. Did not know he had it in him. :)
