What a retarded movie.

It's dumb, silly, crude, cringe and random. The musical bits seemed slapped together at the last minute and almost improvised. Very uninspired and random.
Gascon's casting is so baffling. Her acting is so cringe. Mainly due to her moaning everything. Or, like articulately exhaling. No idea if that was a choice of if she's just got a weird-ass voice like that.

And the way this is put together in general ist just so crude. And random. Did I mention that part?
The ending genuinely seems like satire. Where they're praising a toxic idiot scumbag as if they're Jesus because they transitioned, uncovered the corpses of people whose death they're responsible for and slept with a middle-aged lesbian. Apparently.
It's like, how high were they when they came up with this? Or did they just randomly make shit up on the spot as they were shooting the movie? It seems like no one really gave a shit.

It looks great (except maybe for the car cgi), but otherwise it's just a nonsensical exploitation film with talent attached. Who unfortunately don't elevate it at all.

The characters are flat as hell, and seem to only serve the plot, some redundant message that is weirdly contrary to it, or whatever musical number they're supposed to sing next.

Can Audiard please go back to making French movies again? Pretty please?
Movies where people speak French I mean. He just apparently sucks really bad at getting even decent performances out of actors who don't. Performances that make characters seem like people, and not cheap carboard cutouts, I mean. Even if they're smeared with genuine acting talent.
