It’s hard to know if it’s entirely purposeful but the sounds in this the screaming, the clanking etc is beyond annoying but when you separate from that it’s quite beautiful. Beautiful of course in image not in what it’s saying. Of course the image builds emotions and helps tell the story but you can’t take your eyes off the painterly touches of it all. But in that beauty is an artist trapped in a personal hell. Relating to perversions because of family histories that exist beyond the frame. The impacts of fascism on the psyche not only of those it’s inflicted on but those inflicting pain and their lineage
