Project Hail Mary
Not really my aesthetic at all but was pretty wowed at some of the imagery and colours at certain parts especially in the 70mm IMAX. Funny enough even if you’re bludgeoned over the head with joke after joke of the same type. Not nearly creative enough with their joke telling compared to Lord/Miller’s other works but I’m chalking that up to adaptation. Gosling is a true star here. Even if this brand of star isn’t for everyone he just is magnetic! Way too many endings and they probably chose the worst one but that’s the problem with such things. Like everyone is saying loved the puppet use but really they’re getting credit for not being as lame as every one of their peers
