Project Hail Mary
Almost a perfect film for me. Grace’s character arc is beautifully handled: he goes from someone unwilling to risk himself to someone who ultimately chooses to turn back and save Rocky. I also loved how the adaptation rewards readers with tiny visual details — sometimes just a one-second shot — that immediately connect back to moments from the book. And the imagination behind Rocky and the alien world is wonderful: strange, distinctive, funny and genuinely memorable. Hugely entertaining from start to finish.
