The Strangers: Chapter 3

Can’t decide if this is the best or the worst of this new trilogy just because of how empty everything is within the movie. There being virtually no dialogue leads you to think this is some kind of horror piece that’s much more thoughtful than it actually is. I actually like certain actors in this but they just don’t have the energy to carry something this dragged out and overexposed. There was 0% chance it would stack up to the original since it’s one of the best horror movies ever or even to the Strangers Prey at Night which at least worked as a neon soaked brutalization of the original. But you would want anything more than this. Makes all those super annoying hates every modern horror movie filled with a sense of vindication and we can’t have that
