San Andreas

A film that brings together all the classic elements of disaster cinema: emotion, breathless action and moments of human connection amid chaos. With a schematic but effective narrative, it leans on a charismatic lead who drives the plot with ease, while the supporting cast, including a standout performance from his female co-star, brings freshness and dynamism.

The script, although predictable and full of the usual clichés of the genre, manages to hold interest thanks to the spectacle of its visual effects and the intensity of its action scenes. It is a proposal that doesn't aim to reinvent the genre, but to offer pure, direct entertainment. Ideal for those looking for strong emotions and an exciting time without further complications.
