47 Meters Down: Uncaged
After watching 47 Meters Down, I was actually pleasantly surprised by this! This isn't bad for a shark movie and had much more going for it than the first one. For one, things get interesting much sooner, and although the characters started out annoying, I really liked our two leads by the end. Even in perilous waters, these girls made far fewer dumb decisions, and I can't really blame them for most of the mistakes they made. Of course, the sharks still don't act like real sharks, but this was still a pretty fun shark movie.
The cinematography also improved a lot and was much more visually interesting than the first one. There are a few rough CGI shots, but they're pretty sparse. I really enjoyed the suspense throughout and would easily call this the better movie of the two. Also, fuck Nicole... she got what she had coming!

Mini Review: After watching 47 Meters Down, I was pleasantly surprised by this! Things get interesting much sooner, and although the characters started out annoying, I really liked our two leads by the end. They also made far fewer dumb decisions than the first movie's cast. The cinematography was a big improvement, the suspense kept me engaged, and the CGI was mostly decent. Easily the better of the two. Also, screw Nicole, she got what she had coming.
