Children of Men
I watched this a long time ago and remembered liking this for it's technical craft. I still do it seems, there's a certain scene in a car in the first third of this film and a wonderful one-shot at the end that blew me away. Unfortunately, I don't like much else of the film. It's way to sappy with it's message and muddles it with it's presentation. I also know it's the point of the film, but I would never buy that the entire world would ban pregnancies and even if they did, people would still be born in isolated regions. I get it, and I don't like it! This is paced quickly, but I feel it's disjointed at parts and there's not a lot of good connective tissue. Clive Owen was okay.
