Fantastic Mr. Fox

I watched this in theaters back in 2009 and my thoughts on this seem to be exactly the same. Great stop motion, great sets, but awful dialogue and humor. I honestly can't stand this film or Wes Anderson's well... Wes Andersonness! I just don't like the whimsy or how people talk in his films. I know it's supposed to be like that but to me, it's kind of insufferable. It's why I can't give Isle of Dogs a 10/10 even though I otherwise love that film. Anyways, the animation in this is great and it's still enjoyable enough for me to not hate it outright. I just wish it was like it later films.
