Final Destination 2
I liked this one a little bit less than the first one, and it all comes down to how all over the place the rules of Death are in this. I had a hard time grasping what I should be feeling at any given moment. Also, I didn't really like the new characters that much compared to the first movie, and even then, it was pretty much only Ali Larter. She returns in this movie, and again, is the best part of these movies, but she was not as good as she was in the first one.
Besides that, the deaths are pretty neat, but I felt a lot of them were a little bit off and less grounded. I suppose Death was feeling a bit upset over the last movie and was just throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. I have a feeling these movies are going to get more and more wacky, but this just felt like it was missing something. I still enjoyed this quite a bit, though, and I am beyond excited for the next one. Oh yeah, I have a feeling that one will be my favorite! ;)

Mini Review: I liked this one a little less than the first, mainly because the rules of Death felt all over the place. I had a hard time grasping what I should be feeling at any given moment. I didn't like the new characters as much either, though Ali Larter remains the best part of these movies. The deaths are neat, but many felt less grounded. I suppose Death was upset over the last movie and started throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. Still, I enjoyed this quite a bit.
