Frankenstein's Army

Interesting film I watched because of Resident Evil 8. I think the designs were cool and it's one of the better found footage films. I just wish it had better pacing.

I am back! This time I decided to do a double feature I have wanted to do for a couple years. I love war horror movies ("Warror", if you will) and thought the films I am watching tonight would be fun!
This is the second time I am watching this and my complaint about the bad pacing still holds true. I really just don't know how an 84 minute film can be so long. My guess is that most found footage films are exhausting to watch the it was not done well in this movie. Every shot that transitions into the next one is inconsistent and some of them are just hard cuts in the same scenes and it just looks awful.
That being said, this is still a pretty fun movie with wonderful monster designs and great gore! It's crazy since one of the monsters in this movie inflected a boss in the Resident Evil: Village video game! I think my favorite on this is the stilt walker that has a drill on his face.
I was surprised to find out that this was an English film and not a Russian movie with a dub because a lot of the acting in this is pretty bad and I always blamed it on the voice acting.
Overall, a pretty fun movie that I would recommend to anyone who wants crazy movie. It's fun and worth a watch or two!
