Species

This is one of those movies I saw snippets of as a kid and was told it was too mature for me. I then saw it again later as a kid and yeah... I learned some things from this a kid should not have. Regrettably, I ended up the YouTube version of this which was censored and that explains why I always felt something was missing when I was watching this.

Yes, the movie is supposed to be gratuitous, but I found that I liked all of the action and the actors. (Except, Forest Whitaker, he was cringe.) Honestly, the first thing I thought about with this movie is that all of the government people were idiots and none of this whole operation was secure and the people hired were all idiots. But the second thing I thought about is that this premise is still pretty cool and this could have a great remake! The other thing about this is this is a horror movie that is actually horrific, All of the deaths were quite brutal.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention how amazing Natasha Henstridge is. She literally stole the show! Honestly, I don't know what else to say. I actually really liked this! I hope the uncensored version adds more because some of the cuts in the YouTube version were very funny!
