Strange Harvest
This film was awful and I just don’t have time for everything. Rapid fire…
The film tried to do a mockumentary, but it breaks all the conventions of making it even passable. All the acting is awful, and at no point did I even have the illusion of thinking any of these people were real… That’s not how blood or the human body works. They got things wrong with the pseudo-science. None of the footage from 1993 looked like it was from 1993. All allusions to trying to be accurate are gone.
The only thing this got right was the leeches, and that was probably the whole reason this film was made in the first place. Also, even if some of it was wrong, the gore itself was pretty gnarly.
